Sales Assistant
By working at Sally, you would be part of the largest hair and beauty supplier in Europe. We are on a mission to empower our customers to express themselves through hair, and we need passionate and talented people to make this happen.
Our Sales Assistants focus on creating a memorable shopping experience for our customers. We are looking for passionate beauty lovers to assist with hair colour, cosmetics, skincare, or nails, acting as advisors on our customers' journey. Sally provides the necessary knowledge and training. Bring your passion and personality, and we will do the rest!
As a retail business, all employees must work flexibly. We operate Monday to Sunday on a rota basis, with schedules communicated in advance. You may be required to work at another location within reasonable travelling distance. If flexibility cannot be met, we cannot process your application further. A driving licence and confidence in driving are essential.
You must be over 18 years old due to the products sold.
Your role includes:
- Building relationships and inspiring loyalty
- Recommending additional and complementary products
- Informing customers of current promotions and events
- Setting up advertising displays and arranging merchandise
- Completing transactions accurately
- Maintaining a professional store environment and communicating inventory issues
- Demonstrating Sally's Culture and Values
- Working flexible schedules, including delivering in-store van around Cumbria and conducting salon visits & sales calls
