A prestigious tooling company are looking for a Stores Manager to join their team in Northampton. The successful candidate will be organised, possessing foresight along with strong communication so that you can coordinate with external and internal colleagues. The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Issuing parts from Maintenance Stores.
2. Daily Stock Taking (system generated)
3. Running daily usage and reorder reports from Stores system.
4. Creating orders to replenish stocks
5. Attending daily/weekly/monthly engineering meetings at customers request.
6. Arrange quotations for non-stock requirements
7. Understand the importance of, and achieve KPIs agreed with customer
8. Build long lasting relationships, beneficial to business development and growth.
9. Potentially, restocking factory just-in-time storage, in due course.
Technical Background:
10. Ability to manage time wisely to ensure KPIs are met.
11. Background in Engineering services would be ideal, but more importantly a proven track record in a stores-based environment would form a strong platform upon which to build.
12. Experience in a food production environment would also be ideal.
Candidate Profile:
13. Driving License is essential
14. Happy in your own company, this is a small store with approx. product lines, so we do not anticipate more than one member of staff in the early stages.

Salary & Package
17. Competitive Salary £24, to £32, + bonus scheme
18. Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm
