Choice is seeking a Building Surveyor (Maternity Cover) to assist the Head of Planned Maintenance in providing a range of in-house Building Surveying Services. As a Building Surveyor, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional asset management services, managing innovative projects, and making a real difference for our tenants.Please see employer website for full job details & person specification.
Responsibilities
* To deliver customer focused Asset management services.
* To build and maintain positive working relationships with tenants and external agencies e.g.; Fire Authority, RQIA, Managing Partners, Health and Safety Executive, Building Control, Environmental Health, HMO and other housing providers, etc.
* To liaise with tenant groups to promote knowledge of the maintenance service, planned works and facilitate greater information, involvement and choice.
* Prepare Economic Appraisals, Financial Viability Assessments as well as Business Case Reports.
Skills and Qualifications
* Have a degree qualification in Building Surveying or similar building discipline AND a minimum of 2 years’ experience of construction project management and delivery throughout the project lifecycle new and refurbishment work.
* Willing to work towards Chartered Membership of a building related professional body such as RICS, CIOB, The Institute of Clerk of Works or similar.
