Regional Sales Manager - Engineering Solutions
Central Scotland | Hybrid / Field-based
£50,000-£60,000 Basic + Bonus + Company Car
The Opportunity
You will take responsibility for developing a warm and established customer base, where there is significant opportunity to upsell, cross-sell and expand share of wallet, alongside a clear remit to win new business.
Typical deal values range from £10k-£100k, with regular opportunities at £500k-£1m level, supported by a large and experienced service and installation team.
This is a role for someone who understands engineering solutions and enjoys selling on capability, reliability and lifetime value, not just price.
The Role
* Develop sales of engineered solutions across various sectors
* Grow existing customer relationships through upsell and cross-sell of equipment and services
* Identify and convert new business opportunities across target industries
* Sell complex mechanical solutions, supported by a strong technical and service function
* Engage stakeholders from engineers and through to senior commercial decision-makers
* Work closely with internal engineering, service and installation teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
What We're Looking For
* A mechanically minded sales professional or engineer-turned-salesperson
* Background in mechanical engineering or engineered solutions (e.g. hydraulics, pneumatics, lifting, offshore equipment, capital machinery)
* Comfortable selling technical, high-value solutions
* Able to build credibility quickly with technically competent customers
* Commercially driven, organised and proactive
* Ambitious, with the desire and potential to progress toward Sales Director level
