Role Description
Artel ® Scaffolding Ltd is seeking to appoint a Senior Health & Safety Manager to play a key leadership role within the business.
Health & Safety isn’t a box-ticking exercise for us — it’s fundamental to how we operate. We deliver complex scaffolding solutions across some of the UK’s most demanding projects, and we need someone who can drive standards, challenge complacency, and embed a culture where doing things properly is non-negotiable.
This role isn’t just about compliance. It’s about leadership.
We are looking for someone who:
• Has a strong background in construction (scaffolding experience would be a major advantage)
• Can lead from the front and command respect across site and management teams
• Is confident dealing with clients, senior stakeholders, and regulators
• Understands the importance of systems, process, and continuous improvement
• Is not afraid to have difficult conversations when standards fall short
You will be responsible for shaping and strengthening our Health & Safety function across the business, supporting our operational teams, and ensuring we continue to meet — and exceed — industry standards.
If you’re someone who takes pride in doing things the right way and wants to be part of a business that is pushing to be one of the best in the industry, I’d like to hear from you.
