Our successful and growing hotel client in Cardiff are seeking an Hotel Reservations & Sales Executive to join them on a permanent basis.\n\nThis is an exciting opportunity to join a small, friendly and outgoing team.\n\nThe role would suit someone from a hotel background, or someone from events, customer service, or sales who loves delivering good customer service experience, and strong organisational skills.\n\nLocation: Based in Cardiff City Centre\n\nYou must be able to drive, but you will have use of the company pool cars if you are going off site to visits / events.\n\nHours / Shifts:\n\n40 hours per week\nMonday to Friday shifts worked on a rota: 8:00am - 4:30pm or 9:30am - 6:00pm.\nYou will also work 2 Saturdays in every 4, but you will get a day off in the following week.What you'll be doing:\n\nHandle incoming enquiries from customers, offering them tailored accommodation solutions\nProcess day to day bookings and reservations whilst taking a proactive role in up-selling hotel offerings to customers\nSupport the Head of Sales in the planning and administration of sales activity\nEffectively delivering fantastic customer service, converting business across the accommodation, meeting and hot desk spaces.\nAlways be able to offer great options to clients both new and existingSkills & Experience:\n\nClean driving licence (for company vehicle use) Essential \nA great memory - to remember returning guests!\nIdentify new business, be aware of the local market and competition\nStrong sales skills and confident in conducting telesales activity\nAbility to understand client needs and promote the services\nEnsure quotes and bookings are taken correctly\nGreat communication skills\nA passion for hospitality and delivering great serviceSalary & Benefits:\n\nSalary will be £28,000\nCompany Pension\n28 days holiday per year including bank holidays
