The role |
As a senior sous chef, you’ll be an inspirational leader, creating a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support continuous coaching and development of your team to excel while driving restaurant performance and delivering excellent results.

* Are dedicated to ensuring an excellent guest experience, with every dish prepared to high standards, whether by your efforts or by equipping your team with necessary skills and mindset.
* Ensure your kitchen’s food, health, and safety standards are maintained, understand the financial aspects including gross profit, stock control, and labor costs, and proactively spot opportunities.
* Build a coaching culture within your team, working with your head chef on recruitment and ongoing development, fostering personal and professional growth.
* Are a forward-thinking problem solver, capable of quick decision-making.

* Experience leading a kitchen team as a head chef or senior sous chef, driving performance through positive behavior in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong communication skills, with genuine conversations that ensure your team feels supported.
* Experience maintaining high standards of food, health, and safety.
* Understanding of kitchen financials, including gross profit and stock management.
* Ability to manage labor costs and adapt to changing demands.
* Leadership qualities that inspire and engage your team to thrive in their roles and careers.
* Passion for creating an inclusive environment where team members feel respected and valued.
* Problem-solving skills, able to think quickly and effectively.
