Head of Educational Effectiveness & Quality Assurance East Midlands Hybrid - 2 days on site per week £650-£700 per day Inside IR35 (via umbrella) 6 months A Local Authority in the East Midlands are seeking a Head of Educational Effectiveness & Quality Assurance to provide strategic leadership, innovation, and challenge across Education Effectiveness for children and young people aged 0–16. As Head of Educational Effectiveness, you will: Lead on school improvement, governance, safeguarding, and early years education. Shape and deliver innovative strategies to improve access, quality, and outcomes for children. Collaborate across services including Inclusion, Social Care, and Early Help to ensure equity of opportunity. Influence key decision makers locally, regionally, and nationally to raise the profile of education in the Local Authority Oversee financial, strategic, and operational planning to deliver sustainable high-quality services. You will bring: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and degree-level education (or equivalent). Significant senior leadership experience in education and system-wide improvement. A track record of driving high-quality outcomes in challenging environments. Strong partnership skills, with the ability to build credibility and collaborate across multi-agency settings. Financial and resource management expertise, coupled with a creative, solutions-focused mindset.
