Secondary School Receptionist – Birmingham
ASAP Start | Full-Time | Long-Term (Permanent Opportunity)
We are currently seeking an experienced Secondary School Receptionist to join a welcoming and busy secondary school in the Birmingham area, starting ASAP.
This is a full-time, long-term position, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
Acting as the first point of contact for visitors, parents, and pupils
Managing incoming calls, emails, and general enquiries in a professional manner
Signing visitors in and out in line with safeguarding procedures
Supporting attendance, student records, and general administrative duties
Using BromCom to manage school data and daily administrative tasks
Working closely with office staff and senior leaders to support the smooth running of the school
Requirements
Previous receptionist or administrative experience (essential)
Experience working in a school setting (highly desirable)
Confident use of BromCom school management software (essential)
Strong communication and organisational skills
A professional, calm, and friendly manner
Understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality in a school environment
