Aspect Group Services Ltd are seeking a proactive and organised Stores Coordinator to lead our logistics and stores operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient delivery, collection, and management of materials across multiple sites. You will supervise a team of drivers, maintain stock accuracy, and uphold site safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and coordinate a team of drivers across various locations.
* Oversee the collection, delivery, and issue of stores materials.
* Operate forklifts safely and ensure proper loading/unloading of supplies.
* Conduct stocktakes and maintain accurate inventory records.
* Liaise with suppliers and merchants to fulfil requisitions.
* Monitor and manage returned materials, including hazardous waste.
* Act as the primary contact for facilities management and office maintenance.
* Serve as office First Aider and Fire Marshall.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
* Full driving licence and forklift licence.
* GCSE level education or equivalent.
* Experience in logistics, trade, or builder merchant environments.
Desirable Qualifications:
* Manual Handling, First Aid, CSCS Card, Fire Marshall certification.
* Asbestos Awareness and Removal training.
Skills & Attributes:
* Strong communication and customer service skills.
* Team-oriented with a flexible, can-do attitude.
* High attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
* Knowledge of vehicle loading practices and site safety awareness.
