We’re looking for a Digital Designer to join our in-house Creative & Digital team at Screwfix. Reporting to the Digital Design Manager, you’ll turn creative concepts into high-quality digital assets that elevate how customers experience our brand online.
You’ll design across web, email and app, using Figma as your primary tool and supporting with animation for email where needed. Working closely with designers, marketers, CRM teams and our lead creative agency, you’ll help deliver work that’s visually strong, technically sound and always on brand.

This is a 12 month fixed term contract.

Responsibilities
9. Adapt creative concepts into digital-ready assets for web, email, and app
10. Design high-quality digital content in Figma, following brand, UX, and performance principles
11. Support email campaigns by creating animations using After Effects or Adobe Animate
12. Partner with Marketing, E-Commerce, CRM, and the creative team to deliver seamless, high-impact campaigns
13. Review and refine digital assets to ensure quality, accuracy, and brand consistency
14. Manage design files, templates, and versioning in Figma
15. Bring fresh ideas, new techniques, and creative thinking to the team
16. Share knowledge and support junior designers with tools, techniques, and best practice
Qualifications
You’ll thrive in this role if you bring:
17. Experience designing for web, email, and mobile app platforms
18. Strong hands-on Figma skills across pages, banners, templates, and UI layouts
19. Understanding of responsive design and UX principles
20. Familiarity with After Effects or Adobe Animate for email animation (a bonus, not essential)
21. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat)
22. A sharp eye for detail and commitment to high-quality output
23. Strong communication and collaboration skills
24. Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver at pace
25. Curiosity, adaptability, and a passion for digital creativity
