The role is available due to the promotion of our current postholder to Deputy Headship. This is a non-class based part time role working working every Thursday and Friday and alternate Wednesdays. Your role: Non-class based, leading SEND provision across Nursery to Year 2 (predominantly KS1) Working closely with the Head of Inclusion, staff, families, and external agencies Developing and reviewing SEN support plans and championing inclusive practice Providing staff training and supporting a culture of Unconditional Positive Regard Using nurture approaches and the Boxall Profile to support pupils’ wider development We are looking for: A qualified teacher with the SENCO Award (essential) Significant experience supporting children with SEND in EYFS and KS1 Strong knowledge of current SEND legislation and the graduated approach Ideally, experience as a Designated Safeguarding Lead (or deputy) (DSL) Someone who believes in every child and is excited to join our magical school Visits to the school are encouraged – come and see our unique approach in action!
