About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced OFSTED Registered Manager to lead our client's Family Assessment Centre in Cambridge. This is a rewarding opportunity to manage a well-established service that supports parents and children through residential family assessments in a supportive and structured environment. The centre caters to low-level needs, making this an ideal role for someone with a calm, reflective, and relationship-led approach.
Key Responsibilities:
Hold legal responsibility as the Registered Manager in accordance with OFSTED requirements.
Oversee the daily operations of the Family Assessment Centre, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality, strengths-based assessments.
Ensure full compliance with OFSTED regulations, safeguarding legislation, and best practice frameworks.
Lead and inspire a settled and experienced staff team, promoting a positive culture and continuous professional development.
Maintain strong, collaborative relationships with local authorities, social workers, and other professionals.
Monitor and report on service quality, performance, and outcomes, driving improvements where needed.
Manage resources, staffing, and budgeting efficiently to ensure sustainable and effective service delivery.
Requirements:
Eligible to register with OFSTED as a Registered Manager.
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young Peoples Services (or equivalent).
Proven leadership experience in a residential family or childrens service setting.
Experience or understanding of Early Years development is desirable.
Strong working knowledge of safeguarding, family support, and assessment processes.
Excellent communication, organisational, and team leadership skills.
