Secondary PE Teacher needed!
Location: Macclesfield
Contract: Full Time | Temporary (ASAP - End of Summer Term)
Premier Education Ltd are currently working in partnership with a secondary school in Macclesfield who are seeking a PE Teacher to join their team as soon as possible until the end of the summer term.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic teacher to join a supportive department and make an immediate impact. The school is looking for someone who can deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, encouraging participation, teamwork, and a positive attitude towards physical education.
The successful candidate will be confident teaching a range of sports and activities, and able to quickly build strong relationships with pupils and staff.
Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality PE lessons across KS3 and KS4
Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive practical and theory sessions
Promote healthy lifestyles, teamwork, and participation
Manage classroom and behaviour effectively in line with school policies
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress where required
Contribute positively to the wider school environment and department
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching PE at secondary level
Strong behaviour management and organisational skills
Ability to start immediately and commit until the end of the summer term
A proactive and adaptable approach
Ability to provide two references covering the last two years of employment history
An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
Pay
£140 - £200 per day (dependent on experience and responsibilities)
