We have a vacancy for a full time Business Development Advisor to promote and sell our commercial trade waste services to businesses across our operating region. This is a high-profile role and provides a first point of contact for existing and new customers; therefore, a professional manner is essential. You will also possess excellent IT skills and have proven experience in a sales role and working with databases and spreadsheets. Duties for this post include cultivating new business concentrating on the Councils introduction of a change to commercial waste collections in line with the new Better Recycling strategy which includes weekly food waste collection for new and existing customers across our region, amendments to existing contracts, liaising between customers and front-line staff and upselling our current services to new and existing clients. What you will need The drive and desire to improve the service we deliver along with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, be highly organised, with an attention to detail and accuracy are all vital for this role.
