Job Overview
The Leadership Coordinator will play a central role in supporting the Managing Director and the PfP Thrive Leadership Team by providing high-quality administrative and project‑coordination support. This includes overseeing governance arrangements, ensuring the effective running of committee and board meetings, managing actions and follow‑ups, and supporting the smooth delivery of strategic projects. The role will be based at the PfP Thrive Centre in Derby and will be pivotal in ensuring Thrive's governance and leadership structures operate efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee governance arrangements and maintain effective running of all committee and board meetings.
* Manage actions, follow‑ups, and stakeholder communication related to governance.
* Provide strategic project support and coordination, ensuring timely delivery.
* Support the Managing Director with diary management, meeting coordination, and travel arrangements.
* Coordinate and track project milestones and deliverables.
* Maintain accurate minute‑taking and record‑keeping for meetings.
* Work independently and as part of a team to deliver high‑quality administrative support.
Qualifications & Experience
* Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
* Experience supporting senior leaders, boards, or governance structures.
* Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, including accurate minute‑taking.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
* Confident working independently and as part of a team.
Desirable Criteria
* Experience within the education, training, or skills development sector.
* Understanding of governance, compliance, or quality assurance processes.
* Project coordination experience in a fast‑paced environment.
