What You’ll Do
As an ICT Operative, you will play a vital role in elevating campus cleanliness by delivering comprehensive industrial cleaning services across internal and external areas.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform cleaning duties across various areas including car parks, pathways, garden furniture, walls, ceilings, windows, and glass surfaces.
* Conduct high-level cleaning such as walls, vents, and HVAC grilles.
* Support pest and waste removal activities, including safe disposal of pests and bird guano.
* Assist in specialist lab cleaning in GxP and general laboratories.
* Respond to ad hoc cleaning requests via our Customer Service Portal (ServiceNow).
* Support working at height activities, ensuring safety and compliance.
* Uphold a safety‑first attitude by promoting Sodexo’s Zero Harm culture and safety rules.
* Support seasonal safety efforts like snow and ice clearance during winter months.
* Support asset management and ensure compliance with all health and safety protocols.
* Support the Supervisor in ‘Permit to Work’ activities, including hosting third‑party contractors whilst on‑site.
What You’ll Bring
* Working at height, Ladder Trained, Banksperson, HSE aware
* Experience in GxP environment
* Strong focus on health and safety
* Proactive and organised, with strong attention to detail
* Customer focused and a team player with good spoken and written communication skills
* Full UK Driving License
