The Role:
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Education Support Tutors/Instructors to deliver a blended programme of 1:1 and small group teaching. You will support students across core subjects and enrichment activities, helping them build confidence, skills, and social interaction abilities as they transition back into the school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging, planned sessions in English, Maths, Science, Creative Arts, Drama, PE, and enrichment activities following the set curriculum pathways.
Support students’ social skills development through structured group work and socialisation opportunities, including Breakfast Club and Reflection sessions.
Foster a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes wellbeing, routine, and student reflection.
Collaborate with colleagues to adapt teaching approaches to individual student needs.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and participate in ongoing professional development.
Delivery Model:
Sessions mix 1:1 tuition and small group work.
Working hours Monday to Friday, 10:00 am – 3:00 pm.
Sessions are typically 1 hour (40 minutes teaching + 10 minutes for setup/clear-down).
Includes Breakfast Club (10:00–10:30 am) and Reflection time at the end of the day (2:50–3:00 pm).
What We’re Looking For:
Experience in teaching or tutoring core subjects (English, Maths, Science) or enrichment activities (Creative Arts, Drama, PE).
Ability to support social skills development and work sensitively with students transitioning back from home tuition.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, creativity, and flexibility in adapting to individual learning styles.
Relevant qualifications in education, teaching, or subject specialism preferred

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
