Human Resources Assistant and Interior Designer
Site Security, St Fagans National Museum of History - 38 hrs per week, permanent contract
Salary - £24,420.38 (pro rata)

The Visitor Experience team work closely with the visitors and the collections at each museum. This role will require team members to work with the Shift Supervisor to safeguard the Museum buildings and collections throughout the night while closed to the public.
* You will work as part of a team to provide an efficient and effective out of hours security presence at St. Fagans National Museum of History.
* Use a combination of CCTV, radio communication, and patrols to safeguard Museum grounds. Co-ordinating with the Shift Supervisor to investigate abnormalities and create security reports as required.
* You’ll ensure the safety and welfare of visitors and colleagues at out of hours events and activities.
* Act as keyholders ensuring buildings remain secure, and facilitating out of hours access as required.
* Set and monitor alarm systems throughout the site.

We’re looking for people who…
* Are passionate and excited about the work of Amgueddfa Cymru
* Can work overnight completing 12 hour shifts on rota including weekends and bank holidays.
* Have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to deal effectively and confidently with out of hours visitors and colleagues from across departments.
* Able to accurately follow procedures in relation to safety, security and emergency situations.
* Can innovate and work as part of a team
* Can work on their own initiative
* Have an interest in and care towards our national collections at St. Fagans National Museum of History.
* Able to react confidently and sensibly in a variety of circumstances, providing support to the Shift Supervisor to make decisions in the best interest of Collections.
* Have the attitude and behaviours that are aligned with our values (collaborative, inclusive, inspire creativity, integrity and responsible)
Core Skills
* Possess excellent communication skills
* The ability to speak fluently in English
* The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post
* SIA licence, desirable but full training will be provided.
