MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER (WATER SECTOR) – MANCHESTER – CONTRACT OR PERMANENT
£45,000 - £65,000 OR £300 - £400 PER DAY
Ceto Talent are working with an engineering and construction contractor based in Manchester, and we are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Design Engineer within the water sector to join on either a permanent or contract basis.
Your skills and experience:
* Degree-educated engineer with experience working within the water sector as a design engineer. This includes clean water, wastewater and wet infrastructure design.
* Strong knowledge and experience in design drawing practices.
* Experience in hydraulic design.
About the role:
* Provide design deliverables that satisfy safety and quality requirements. Produce design calculations and drawings for the water industry.
* Prepare scopes for and check the output of subcontract M&M&E design teams.
* Position based in Manchester and full‑time, working hybrid.
* Salary for permanent option is between £45,000 and £65,000, dependent on experience and suitability.
* Contract position between £300 and £400 per day (deemed outside of IR35) and the contract is ongoing.
