We are looking for an experienced and ambitious Senior Residential Conveyancing Lawyer to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a confident legal professional with strong technical expertise and a passion for delivering exceptional client service.
You’ll work on a varied and high-quality caseload, including complex residential conveyancing matters, while playing an important role in mentoring of junior colleagues and supporting the continued growth of the team.
This role is ideally suited to someone with 5+ years’ PQE experience in managing complex transactions independently.
The Role
You will provide expert legal advice across a broad range of residential conveyancing matters, with a particular focus on:
* Deeds of grant
* Covenants and easements
* Assignments
* Declarations of trust
* Creation of residential leases
* Equity release transactions
* Matters arising under the Building Safety Act
Key Responsibilities
* Managing residential conveyancing transactions from instruction through to completion efficiently and accurately
* Conducting thorough due diligence at every stage of the transaction process
* Advising clients on a wide range of matters, including:
* Sales, purchases, and re-mortgages
* New build properties
* Right to Buy and Help to Buy schemes
* Shared ownership matters
* Lease extensions
* Deeds of variation
* Other schemes as appropriate
* Delivering clear, practical legal advice alongside an excellent standard of client care
* Managing a varied caseload while meeting time and billing targets
* Supporting business development initiatives and helping grow both the conveyancing team and wider firm
* Mentoring and supporting junior team members in their professional development
What We’re Looking For
* 5+ years’ PQE in senior residential conveyancing
* Strong technical knowledge and experience handling complex matters independently
* Excellent communication and client relationship skills
* A proactive and commercially aware approach
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
* A collaborative mindset and willingness to support colleagues across the team
