We are working with a highly successful London-based fashion supplier who are looking for an innovative and fashion-forward Senior Denim Designer to join their growing womenswear team.
This is an exciting opportunity to design trend-led denim collections for well-known UK high street retailers. You'll play a key role within the design team, bringing fresh ideas, strong trend awareness, and a confident creative handwriting to the brand.
Key Responsibilities:
* Create and develop innovative, trend-led womenswear denim designs
* Demonstrate a strong, trend-driven design handwriting across all collections
* Present confidently to buyers, showcasing mood boards, concepts, and market research
* Stay ahead of trends through ongoing market and competitor analysis
* Develop detailed CADs and technical packs for product development
* Work closely with internal teams to ensure designs are aligned with customer needs
* Liaise with overseas factories throughout the development process
* Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Person Specification:
* Proven experience as a Womenswear Denim Designer
* Strong trend awareness with the ability to translate into commercial designs
* A clear, confident design handwriting that is fashion-forward and relevant to the UK high street
* Confident presenter, comfortable in buyer-facing meetings
* Passionate about denim, with strong knowledge of fabrics, washes, and fits
* Highly organised and able to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment
* A collaborative team player with a positive and proactive attitude
* Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite with strong CAD skills
