Job Title: Teacher of Art
Location: Secondary School - Rossendale
Contract: Long-term position with potential for Temp-to-Perm for the right candidate
Start Date: As soon as possible
Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging art lessons across a range of media and techniques.
* Inspire and motivate students to develop their creativity and artistic skills.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
* Contribute to extracurricular art activities and exhibitions where possible.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and raise standards.
Qualifications
* Holds QTS (or is working towards it) and has experience teaching Art at KS3 and KS4.
* Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge and a passion for the arts.
* Can build positive relationships with students and manage behaviour effectively.
* Is adaptable, proactive, and committed to continuous professional development.
* Brings creativity, energy, and enthusiasm to their teaching practice.
