PPC Specialist (UK/IE based)
ThinkBait, the innovative marketing hub for Neilson Financial Services, seeks a performance-driven PPC Specialist responsible for managing Google Search and Performance Max campaigns primarily in the UK market. The role is key in executing campaigns on Google Ads and Microsoft Ads across multiple brands in the UK, Canada, Australia, and global markets.
Roles and Responsibilities
* Create, track, analyse, and optimise pay‑per‑click campaigns (Google Search Ads, Performance Max, and Microsoft Ads) in various geographical markets.
* Analyse campaign performance to identify optimisation opportunities and grow lead volume.
* Review and improve existing and write new ad copy to increase CTR, QS, and ad relevancy.
* Manage ad‑copy changes through the compliance sign‑off process.
* Test and adopt smart bidding strategies (Target IS, Target ROAS, TCPA, etc.) to support business goals.
* Execute all campaigns with meticulous attention to detail to avoid errors.
* Collaborate with the wider marketing team to coordinate campaign landing pages.
* Maintain high‑quality data and BI through accurate campaign trafficking.
* Track daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs to identify improvement opportunities.
* Report campaign performance using dashboards, highlighting CTR, CPC, Lead CVR, and other key metrics.
Knowledge & Skills
* Proficiency in Google Ads; Microsoft Ads experience is a plus.
* Experience with Ad Editors for bulk changes.
* Strong keyword research skills.
* Experience with Google Analytics or a comparable web analytics platform.
* Highly proficient in Excel or Google Sheets.
* Familiarity with competitor monitoring and business intelligence tools.
* Experience with Google Ads AI/automation/scripts is desirable.
Experience and Qualifications
* Minimum 3 years of hands‑on PPC experience in a high‑volume B2C or agency environment.
* Experience in the financial services industry is highly desired but not mandatory.
* Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
* Strong attention to detail, drive, passion, innovative thinking, high energy, and enthusiasm.
* Ability to embrace change in a fast‑paced environment and demonstrate flexibility.
* Strong organisational skills and professional demeanour.
