About The Role
As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness is at the core of everything you do. You will be involved in caring for residents in Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Your role will focus on providing personalized care that promotes security, dignity, and independence for residents.
You will lead a team of Care Assistants, maintaining high standards of care, and influencing your team positively. Your responsibilities include assisting residents with daily activities, supporting end-of-life care, and communicating effectively with residents’ families.
In collaboration with the Registered Nurse and Care Manager, you will facilitate social and recreational activities, administer medication, and keep accurate records. A background in person-centered care planning and knowledge of dementia care is preferred. You should have a positive attitude, good record-keeping skills, and excellent time management.
Qualifications: Ideally, you will have completed a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care or equivalent and be willing to work towards a Level 3 qualification.
