Civil Design Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Civil Design Engineer to join thr Southern design team of a with a respected engineering organisation delivering innovative water sector solutions across the UK. As a Civil Design Engineer contribute to high-impact clean and wastewater infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities or a Civil Design Engineer.

Produce sustainable, value-driven civil designs in line with construction requirements and industry regulations
*
Carry out design calculations, feasibility assessments, and field investigations
*
Develop project layouts using advanced design software, ensuring quality and accuracy
*
Integrate health, safety, and environmental considerations throughout the design process
*
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery
Skills and Qualifications Required:
*
Strong foundation in civil engineering principles, particularly within water infrastructure
*
Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and hydraulic modelling tools (e.g. EPANET, HEC-RAS, MIKE21)
*
Proven ability to solve complex technical challenges and adapt designs to evolving project needs
*
Experience managing design elements within large-scale infrastructure or utility projects
*
Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively across internal and external teams
