Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various commercial settings. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning tasks, ensuring that all areas are kept tidy and presentable for staff and visitors alike.
Responsibilities
* Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
* Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to ensure a hygienic environment.
* Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly.
* Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any shortages or malfunctions as necessary.
* Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
* Assist with special cleaning projects as required, such as deep cleans or post-event clean-ups.
* Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve high standards of cleanliness.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
* Good time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
* A proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
* Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks efficiently throughout the shift.
