This role can be performed out of our Bristol, Leatherhead, or Leicester office.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Due to a period of sustainable growth, we have opportunities for a software engineer to join our highly successful team.
Responsibilities include:
* Requirements Analysis
* Design and Software Development of a software simulator in line with customer requirements
* Integration of existing toolset and simulations into bespoke solutions
* Generation of unit and system level tests to verify functionality
* Solution and Release Documentation
* User/customer Technical Interaction
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
The successful candidate will be a highly driven and creative individual able to work autonomously and as part of the simulations team. You should have relevant experience and genuinely want to work in a complex software systems environment.
Skills and experience we are looking for include:
* Background in Maths / Physics based software solutions
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills – written & spoken
* Commitment to quality and attention to detail
* A proactive mindset, self-starter, quick learner
* Ability & experience in independent working
* Willingness to travel to the Bristol office as required
Desirable:
* Previous experience of software development (e.g., Java, C++) & verification
* Experience within the satellite industry or space domain
