Job Description:
AA Euro Healthcare has partnered with a leading organisation to hire qualified and experienced Support Workers (relief) in Newry.
Requirements:
* A qualification in Social Care or a related discipline and/or
* A minimum of 2 years’ employment experience in a similar role (e.g., Day Services; Domiciliary Care; Residential Care; Learning Disability; Autism)
* Experience supporting individuals who present with challenging behaviour
* Knowledge of adults/children with complex needs
* Full clean B driving license
* Must be eligible to work in Northern Ireland
* NISCC registration required
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with child/adult activities and care as assigned by management and as indicated in the person’s Integrated Care Plan
* Report changes noted in the child/adult’s condition/behaviour to the Manager
* Develop social interaction for children/adults individually and in group settings
* Maintain confidentiality in line with GDPR, protecting organisation’s and service users’ information
* Undertake any other work within the scope of a Healthcare Assistant to meet service requirements
