What you'll be doing

This is a hands on role with real scope to make an impact. • Working with partners across Kent to deliver shared learning opportunities

• Leading the analysis of learning needs through our appraisal cycle

• Advising on post entry qualifications and professional development routes

• Supporting Member development with high-quality training and governance learning

• Managing external providers and ensuring excellent value for money

• Maximising the Apprenticeship Levy to support workforce growth

About you

We're looking for someone who is:

• Experienced in designing, delivering and evaluating impactful L&D programmes

• Confident partnering with senior managers and influencing decision-making

• Skilled in facilitation, coaching and creating engaging learning content

• Able to analyse data, spot trends and translate them into meaningful plans

• Creative, proactive and comfortable managing multiple priorities

• A champion for inclusion, collaboration and modern learning practices

• CIPD Level 5 qualified (or equivalent), with strong knowledge of adult learning theory

Experience in local government or public sector settings is desirable but not essential.

Why join us?

This role offers the chance to shape the future capability of the organisation and support our workforce through one of the most important periods of change in recent years. You'll have autonomy, visible impact and the opportunity to innovate and develop modern, meaningful learning experiences.
