Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and strategic Category Manager to develop and lead a category management strategy for our Myopia Management portfolio. This role involves building a holistic category framework that includes myopia control soft contact lenses, orthokeratology lenses, and myopia management glasses. The manager will define product assortments, collaborate cross-functionally, and set the stage for long-term growth in this rapidly evolving category.
* Category Strategy Development: Lead the creation of a comprehensive strategy for myopia management, including new products, market expansion, and profitability goals.
* Portfolio Management: Regularly assess and adapt our product assortment to meet consumer needs and stay ahead of competitors.
* Consumer & Market Insights: Analyze consumer research and industry trends to identify growth opportunities and market gaps.
* Clinical Outcome Alignment: Incorporate clinical data into the category framework to inform product positioning.
* Profitability & Pricing Strategy: Establish pricing frameworks and promotional strategies aligning with category goals.
* Go-to-Market Strategy & Distribution: Support the development and execution of go-to-market plans and manage distribution channels.
* Performance Management: Set KPIs and analyze performance data to optimize strategy.
* Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with global teams to ensure alignment on goals and initiatives.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
* Proven expertise in category management frameworks, profitability analysis, and clinical outcome integration.
* Strong analytical skills and experience developing go-to-market strategies.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Self-motivated with a drive for continuous improvement.
Work Environment: Based in Victor, NY, with 10-15% global travel required.
Experience: 5+ years in category management, product marketing, or related fields, preferably in healthcare or medical devices.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a technical field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
