This role offers an opportunity for individuals passionate about making a difference to young people from disadvantaged backgrounds. You will support students both academically and in their social and emotional development, working closely with the SEMH Lead/Team Leader and other staff to meet individual needs and promote well-being.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEMH needs, focusing on emotional regulation, self-awareness, and self-management skills.
* Develop and implement individualised behaviour plans and strategies.
* Offer emotional support and guidance, fostering a safe and supportive environment.
* Contribute to a positive school culture emphasizing inclusivity, respect, and empathy.
* Participate in training and professional development in SEMH support.
