You will be responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of this mechatronics biased testing equipment and instrumentation. You will be working within a variety of appealing manufacturing sectors including the aerospace, automotive, and medical industries, amongst others. You will play an important role in ensuring the equipment is correctly calibrated and always maintained to UKAS standards. Compile detailed reports as appropriate The field-based nature of the role will require nights away from home; on average of 1 - 2 per week.Ideal Background for the Service & Calibration Engineer: Knowledge of materials testing machinery is mandatory for this role. Either as a current service engineer, or as somebody using the machinery in a lab A strong engineering understanding is essential in mechanical, electrical, and fluid disciplines. Approachable, honest, and a team player. Strong IT and communication skills.
