MVOW Offshore Wind UK > SBU NCE Service > NCE Supply Chain Warehouse Operations Offshore
The Vestas Offshore Supply Chain Department is responsible for the logistic and warehouse operations on board of the Service Operations Vessels and Jack-Up Vessels. We are supporting the Vestas Offshore Special Projects and Service Departments which installs, services and maintains the wind turbines in multiple windfarms across the European seas.
Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities will be:
1. Lead and supervise a team of service stockkeepers managing spare parts, tools, and consumables for offshore operations
2. Plan and allocate daily workloads, monitor performance, and ensure safe and efficient task execution
3. Conduct regular team briefings, toolbox talks, and enforce strict compliance with safety standards and procedures
4. Maintain accurate inventory records and transactions in SAP to support material traceability and availability
5. Coordinate with the offshore department to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials for maintenance and service activities
6. Monitor key performance indicators (e.g., GR on time, YMM not delivered/cleaned), investigate incidents or NCRs, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
7. Support audits, inspections, maintenance campaigns, and unplanned service events while promoting a strong safety culture within the team
Qualifications
8. Apprenticeship and/or degree in warehouse management, logistics, or a related field
9. Proven warehouse experience, preferably within the Wind Industry
10. Valid full driving license with strong awareness of site and warehouse safety
11. Experience in customs clearance and declaration processes (beneficial)
12. Proficient in SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, TMS, and ERP systems such as SAP or AX
13. Strong communication skills in English with excellent planning and time management abilities
14. Committed to adherence and compliance with local laws, regulations, and company standards
