Role: SEN Teaching Assistant
Rate of pay: £425 – £475 Dependent on experience

About the role
Connex Education is seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school in the Cannock. In this role, you will work closely with class teachers to support children aged 4–11, helping them engage in learning and develop important academic, social, and emotional skills. Your responsibilities will include supporting small groups or individual pupils, implementing personalised learning strategies, and adapting activities to meet specific needs under the guidance of teaching staff. You’ll contribute to creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment, supporting learners with a wide range of abilities and additional needs.

Role Requirements
* Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning or Equivalent Level 3 UK Educational qualification is required.
* Previous experience working in Educational is essential.
* A commitment to promoting equality and diversity in the classroom
* An understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines
* Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through Connex Education.
