Therole
Reporting into the ManagingDirector, Product Access Division, and a key member of the PADLeadership Team, the role of the Global Access Director is focusedon building and leading our Global Access business. Working withthe cross-functional teams across both the division and the broaderUniphar Group to develop the go-to-market strategy and build ourservice offering to meet the needs of the pharmaceutical industrylooking to make their medications available to HCPs and Patients inmarkets that they are not equipped to do so, or commerciallyconsider non-core.
As a Global Access Director, you will beresponsible for:
* Developing andimplementing the strategy and vision for Global Access, ensuringalignment with the overall business objectives and customerneeds.
* Delivery of the global P&L forGlobal Access.
* Managing and growing a team ofand Specialists, providing coaching, mentoring, and performancemanagement.
* Establishing and maintaining strongrelationships with key, internationally located, stakeholders, bothinternally and externally, such as pharmaceutical companies,regulatory authorities, distributors, and healthcareproviders.
* Overseeing the delivery ofhigh-quality Global Access projects, ensuring compliance withrelevant regulations, standards, and bestpractices.
* Identifying and pursuing newbusiness opportunities, expanding the Global Access portfolio, andincreasing revenue and profitability.
* Leadingthe business development activities for Global Access, targeting,and securing business with new pharmaceutical clients, as well asmaintaining and enhancing existing clientrelationships.
* Monitoring and evaluating theperformance and impact of Global Access, using data-driven insightsand feedback to drive continuous improvement andinnovation.
To besuccessful in this role, you willneed:
* A bachelor's degree or higher inpharmacy, life sciences, business administration, or a relatedfield.
* At least 10 years of experience in thepharmaceutical industry, with a focus on product commercialization,market access, or product development.
* At least5 years of experience across international markets outside ofEurope managing either partners orproducts.
* Proven leadership and managementskills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse andcross-functional team.
* Strong commercialacumen, including experience in managingP&Ls.
* Excellent communication andpresentation skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate atall levels.
* Strong analytical andproblem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex andambiguous situations.
* Willingness to travel,often extensively
* A passion for improvingaccess to medicines and healthcare for underserved populationsaround the world.
