Job Title: Buyer - Indirect Spend
Location: Wakefield Area
Contract: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract
Package: To £45,000, and excellent benefits including bonus and pension
Grafton Recruitment are working with a well-recognised highly successful corporate organisation to recruit an experienced procurement professional with a generalist indirects and services background. This role will take responsibility for procurement of categories such as facilities, CAPEX, MRO, sourcing suppliers and working with internal stakeholders through the commercial negotiation and contract award process.

Responsibilities
* Supplier Sourcing - identification and evaluation of suppliers
* Tendering, negotiating and implementing contracts and agreements
* Managing and advising stakeholders through the procurement process
* Managing supplier relationships, setting supplier strategy and evaluating supplier performance
* Project procurement and category management approach
Requirements
* Experience of managing end to end procurement process, tendering and supplier negotiation
* Experience of indirect commodities
* Proven negotiation skills and contract knowledge
* Excellent communication and influencing skills, managing cross function projects
* Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
* Ambitious, motivated, and able to work on own initiative
