We currently have on offer posts within our Request for Assistance (RFA) Team and our Focussed Intervention Teams (FIT). The RFA Team provide a first point of contact with children’s social work, when the infant, child or young person is not known or not currently allocated or waiting allocation to social work. The team enables, children, families, members of the public and professionals to seek support for and raise concerns about the wellbeing of children so that they can receive timely and proportionate help. This includes children identified as, being in need of childcare and protection.

The FIT Teams undertake our longer-term interventions with children and families providing advice and guidance through to assessment and planning required in statutory and non-statutory social work. With a strong focus on relationships and building on strengths with children and their families we always aim to build family capacity and achieve change where required.
Requirements
