About The Role
We are growing our electrical division to meet the ever-increasing needs of our expanding business. To help us achieve this, we are looking for a Mobile Electrician to work within our team in the Chandlers Ford area.
Within this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, servicing, and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment across branches and customer sites in the south region, ensuring safety, professionalism, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have practical electrical engineering skills and experience.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with participation in an on-call rota, which may vary depending on business needs.
It is essential that applicants hold an ECS Gold Card or have the relevant qualifications or experience in Electrical Installations to obtain an ECS Gold Card.
Responsibilities:
* Carry out electrical installation work in accordance with current I.E.E. Regulations and Construction Industry Safety Regulations.
* Maintain, install, service, and repair electrical/mechanical pump sets within the hire fleet and customer units, adhering to legislative standards.
* Produce reports and estimates for repairs and advise on safety issues as necessary.
* Maintain good housekeeping standards in work areas and vehicles.
* Adhere to all Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
* Communicate effectively with managers, internal teams, and external stakeholders regarding business and customer expectations.
* Work independently to manage workloads and call outs.
* Attend call outs as part of a rota, approximately once every six weeks.
Qualifications:
* JIB Qualified Electrician with the ability to meet requirements for an ECS Gold Card - 18th edition.
* Full UK Driving Licence (company van provided).
