Payroll OfficerAn excellent opportunity has arisen for a Payroll Officer to join a busy finance team, taking full responsibility for the end-to-end payroll function to ensure accurate and timely processing.The role can be offered on a part-time basis (2.53 days per week), with flexibility around working days and hours. However, some time will need to be worked at the beginning of the week to align with payroll processing schedules. There is also potential for the role to be full-time, with additional responsibilities covering general finance administration.The Role:Managing weekly and monthly payroll for approximately 300 employees across multiple entities, including multi-jurisdiction payroll (NI and ROI)Processing starters and leavers within the payroll systemCalculating statutory payments including sickness, parental and annual leaveAdministering company pension and benefits schemesPreparing payroll reports and maintaining accurate payroll recordsEnsuring compliance with current payroll legislation and keeping up to date with any changesAdhering to data protection regulations in relation to payroll dataProviding advice and support on payroll-related queriesThe Person:Previous experience in a payroll role is essentialExperience with payroll systems; exposure to system implementation is advantageousStrong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft ExcelExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailStrong organisational and time management skillsWHJS1_NI
