We're recruiting for a Depot Manager to join a well-established equipment and materials handling business in Hull. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced operational leader to take ownership of a busy depot, overseeing people, processes, fleet management, and customer service while driving performance across the site.

Key Responsibilities:
As Depot Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the depot by:
Overseeing daily depot operations and workflow
Managing forklift fleet availability, servicing, and maintenance schedules
Coordinating forklift deliveries, collections, and transportation
Supervising workshop, service, and depot teams
Planning and allocating resources to meet operational demands
Tracking performance, costs, and productivity targets
Maintaining accurate operational, maintenance, and inventory records
Working closely with sales, service, and logistics teams
Recruiting, training, and developing staff
Driving continuous improvement in efficiency, service quality, and customer satisfaction
What we're looking for:
We're keen to speak with candidates who have:
Experience within the forklift, plant, HGV, or powered access sectors
A strong background as a manager within a depot, workshop, or operational environment
Previous experience in a leadership role such as a service manager or similar
Strong organisational and people management skills
A focus on customer service, safety, and operational excellence
