Overview
Business Development Manager – Electrical Sector. Locations: Telford, Stoke on Trent, Cheshire, North Wales, Liverpool, Warrington. Salary: GBP 40K – 50K, variable based on performance (OTE). Includes a competitive base, commission bonus, company car, pension, and comprehensive health & life insurance benefits.
Responsibilities
* Plan and conduct customer visits within your defined territory, ensuring an efficient diary.
* Identify opportunities to promote and sell a full range of electrical, lighting, power distribution, factory automation and process automation solutions.
* Develop and maintain relationships with decision makers, and engage them to develop business.
* Utilise the available customer database and marketing support to generate leads and close deals.
* Work under the guidance of the local Regional Sales Manager and receive all technical support and ongoing training.
Qualifications & Skills
* Demonstrable sales career history and track record of success.
* Strong time‑management, organisational and communication skills (verbal and written).
* Self‑motivation and a proactive, can‑do attitude.
* Commercial and technical ability, with ideally knowledge of industrial electrical/control and automation.
* Proficiency with Microsoft 365.
* Customer‑focussed mindset and ability to manage complex B2B sales cycles.
* Full UK driving licence and the ability to travel within the territory.
* Must be eligible to work in the UK; no sponsorship available.

While the role is based remotely, candidates should be located in Liverpool, Warrington, Stoke on Trent, Chester, Crewe, or have excellent access to the defined territory. Candidates from other locations may be considered on a case‑by‑case basis.
