Sapphire Utility Solutions are looking to appoint a Health and Safety Administrator in support of United Utilities and other divisions within Sapphire Utility Solutions. This role is permanent, based at our Head Office in Leyland.
We are seeking someone with excellent administration skills and a full understanding of Microsoft software packages such as Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience of working within a Utilities, Construction or Civils background would be beneficial.
Location: Leyland, Lancashire
Hours: Monday to Friday – 40 Hours per week (Monday to Friday, 08.00am-16.30pm)
Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 per annum

Responsibilities – but not limited to:
* Working closely with the HSEQ Manager and HSEQ Advisors
* Compiling reports
* Compiling powerpoint presentations for trends and statistics
* Compiling spreadsheets and other reports for the HSEQ Manager and HSEQ Director
* Assessing near miss submissions
* Managing data on E20, share point and other data systems
* Creating communications on behalf of the Health and Safety team to the wider company
* General administration duties
* Working closely with the Health and Safety Manager and Advisors
* Assisting advisors with Depot inspections and fire alarm tests
* Ordering of equipment for the HSEQ team
* Coordinating Sapphire HSEQ processes such as Occupational Health Assessments
Experience and qualifications desirable for the role:
* Proficient in Microsoft Suites
* Either a NEBOSH qualification or a IOSH Managing Safely would be desirable but not essential
