Family Hub Sleep Engagement Practitioner

Your role in our journey
As a highly committed and motivated individual you will be proactive in engaging families with children aged 0-25 years into the Family Centre offer through our new Family Hub network.
You will be part of a wider Family Hub team, to actively target and engage families with children aged SEND), including marginalized groups. You will facilitate registration and engagement of families in Family Hubs, supporting people to access the services and interventions they need to build their resilience and gain confidence, whilst working alongside wider services to ensure families can access the right support, at the right time.
The role will include working from Family Hubs and in the community working alongside others to support children and families as part of the Beds for babies Goldthorpe Pilot.
The Beds for Babies pilot in Goldthorpe is part of the broader Safe Space to Sleep programme, it is a targeted initiative aimed at tackling bed poverty and ensuring that children under five have a safe and appropriate place to sleep.

What you'll need
Alongside a Level 3 qualification or substantial experience in a relevant field and will need to evidence that you have relevant experience of working with children, young people and their families.
Your communication skills, flexible approach and flair for building relationships will really set you apart.
You will have an understanding of safeguarding and be able to adhere to safeguarding policy.
You will have an understanding of services provided by Family Hubs within the scope of Early intervention and prevention
