Main duties of the job
Clinical
Conduct face-to-face and remoteconsultations for acute and chronic conditions
Diagnose and manage a broad rangeof primary care presentations
Review and action pathology,imaging, and hospital correspondence in a timely manner
Refer patients appropriately tosecondary care and community services
Prescribe safely and in accordancewith practice and national guidelines
Maintain clear, accurate, andcontemporaneous clinical records using the practice clinical system
Participate in the management ofpatients with long term conditions
Contribute to care planning andcase reviews as appropriate
SpecialInterests
GPs with a special interest inminor surgery or women's health are warmly encouraged to apply
Opportunities may exist to developand lead clinics aligned to your area of expertise, subject to practice needand appropriate governance
Teamand Practice
Participate in MDT meetings,clinical governance, and significant event reviews
Comply with practice policies,protocols, and CQC requirements

Person Specification
Experience
* Inclusion on the GP Register
* Inclusion on or eligibility for the NHS Performers List for England
* Proven clinical competence across a broad range of primary care presentations
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Commitment to clinical governance patient safety and continuous improvement
* IT literacy and experience with clinical record systems Docman EMIS
Qualifications
* MB ChB or equivalent primary medical qualification
* Current full GMC registration with a licence to practise
* Special interest in minor surgery, womens health, or another relevant clinical area
* Experience in GP training or mentoring
* DRCOG, DFSRH, or other relevant postgraduate qualification
* Familiarity with CQC standards and primary care governance frameworks
