London | Top 10 Accounting Firm A Top 10 accounting firm is seeking an experienced Technical Manager to join its growing London team. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong audit and accounting professional looking to move into a highly visible role focused on audit quality, technical advisory, regulatory compliance and process improvement within a leading professional services environment. Working closely with the Technical Partner and senior leadership team, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the firm's continued growth, quality initiatives and integration of newly acquired London offices. Key Responsibilities Answer technical queries across the firm relating to: Financial reporting Narrative reporting ISA audit methodology Risk management Ethics and independence Identify thematic areas requiring additional guidance, templates or training Support the development and delivery of initiatives to improve audit quality, efficiency and consistency across audit and accounts production processes Work with the Technical Partner to coordinate the external cold file review process Analyse thematic issues and root causes, developing remediation plans including training and coaching initiatives Assist in ensuring the firm remains up to date with: Emerging technical matters Regulatory developments UK Ethical Standards US independence rules Support the implementation of new regulatory requirements and the continual development of firm-wide policies, procedures and processes Assist with the integration of newly acquired London-based offices Work alongside the Technical Partner and Head of Audit in developing assurance and advisory service lines Requirements ACA or ACCA qualified Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS and ISA audit methodology Experience within a Top 10, mid-tier or Big 4 accounting firm environment Strong understanding of audit quality, compliance and risk management processes Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Experience delivering technical training or guidance would be advantageous Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
