Position: Project Manager - Traditional Fit-Out Contractor (SME)
Location: Surrey
Salary: £75,000 - £95,000 + Package

My client is a well established Tier 1 D&B contractor delivering high-end fit-out projects across the South of England. Their projects typically range from £1m to £9m. known for their hands-on approach, attention to detail, and collaborative ethos.
The Role
My client is looking for a driven and experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of fit-out projects from pre-construction through to handover. You'll be the key point of contact for clients and consultants ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of fit-out projects from inception to completion.
• Manage site teams and suppliers to ensure smooth delivery.
• Develop and maintain project programmes, tracking progress and mitigating delays.
• Act as the primary client liaison, maintaining strong relationships and clear communication.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality standards, and contractual obligations.
• Work closely with the commercial team to monitor budgets, variations, and cost control.
• Attend site meetings, produce reports, and drive project performance.
Requirements
• Minimum 5 years' experience managing fit-out or refurbishment projects.
• Proven track record delivering projects between £1m-£10m in value.
• Degree-qualified or trade background with strong project management credentials.
• Solid understanding of construction processes.
• Proficient in MS Project and other relevant software.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• London-based or willing to commute daily to Central London sites.
