Senior Education Improvement Service Officer
Salary: Soulbury EIP 17-20 + 3 SPA

Conwy's Education Services are seeking an experienced secondary practitioner to join the Education Improvement Service. The role involves supporting and ensuring the highest quality of education for all young people within Conwy schools.
This is a full-time, permanent position aimed at enhancing the Education Improvement Service during an exciting period of transformation and development. The service is committed to providing bilingual support and challenge to schools to improve attainment and the overall experience of children and young people. To succeed in this role, you should possess the skills and expertise to lead aspects of the Education Improvement Service, particularly in standards, provision, and leadership. You will support both statutory and non-statutory aspects of education across all settings under the direction of the Education Improvement Service Manager, ensuring they meet and exceed requirements. You will work closely with schools, services, stakeholders, and the wider Education Improvement Service to gather and share information, plan, and implement improvements for children and young people in Conwy. You will have strategic responsibility for maintaining high-quality education in Conwy schools and providing wider support in link Local Authorities. Additionally, you will serve as the Improvement Advisor for the 7 secondary schools in Conwy. Fluency in Welsh is essential for this post.
The role is paid on the Soulbury Education Advisor scale. We welcome applications from experienced school senior leaders with a proven track record of significantly improving school performance, whether in a school setting or within a Local Authority or Regional Consortia.
