Role Overview
As a Continuous Improvement Manager within our Caerphilly branch, you will be responsible for managing and delivering our responsive repair service in Cardiff. Your duties include meeting KPIs, driving innovation, and overseeing operatives and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities
1. Monitor and control work within geographical or property-type contracts, conducting inspections as required.
2. Mentor Operatives and Trainees, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety guidelines.
3. Oversee progress and completion of works by Operatives and Subcontractors.
4. Manage Operatives and Subcontractors to ensure performance standards, customer service, and safety procedures are met.
5. Maximize contract performance against KPIs, minimize penalties, and ensure high customer satisfaction.
Candidate Criteria
* Experience in Social Housing.
* Supervisory experience with Operatives and Subcontractors.
* Knowledge of Repairs Maintenance.
* Strong communication and people management skills.
* Negotiation skills.
* Trade, management, or health and safety qualifications are desirable.
Additional Information
All roles require UK work entitlement; visa sponsorship is not available. Candidates must pass DBS/Security checks. To drive a Mears vehicle, applicants must be over 21, have held a license for over 3 months, and have fewer than 9 points.
