We are Eden Futures, and we deliver exceptional support services for people aged 18 and over who have learning disabilities, autism, mental ill health and associated complex needs.
We are recruiting Support Workers to join the team across our Supported Living Services, supporting individuals in their own homes as well as out in the community, helping them to live as independently as possible.
*Roles are paid at an hourly rate of £12.21, or £26,712 annually based on a 42-hour working week. The salary shown is a per annum equivalent for information only. NLW applies and will be pro-rata'd based on hours worked. This is a Bank position.
We are flexible regarding working hours/shifts, giving you the flexibility to work around existing commitments.
Successful candidates will be required to have an Enhanced DBS check prior to starting employment.
When you first join Eden Futures, you will be paid for completing a comprehensive Induction Programme involving face-to-face training, e-learning, and shadowing experienced team members.
For those new to care, we will support you to complete your Care Certificate and gain a nationally recognized Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care or a relevant field, partnering with our provider Lifetime Training.

Main Responsibilities:
* Support service users to lead a full and active life according to their wishes and individual support plans, participating in plan development where applicable
* Support individuals to stay safe, taking appropriate action to safeguard their welfare and protect from abuse
* Provide emotional support with a person-centered approach
* Assist service users in participating in social activities, managing finances and medication responsibly, helping with practical tasks and personal care, hygiene, and healthcare
* Act as an informal point of contact for those in the service users' circle of support (e.g., families and social workers)
* Report and record any issues related to care and support to monitor health and wellbeing
* Comply with Health and Safety regulations, ensuring the safety and welfare of others
